Anthony still wobbles, but falls down less.
Bumping helmeted-head against tables and walls. Clucking. Feeling vibrations.
Thump. Thump.
Cluck. Cluck. Cluck.
Maneuvering around strange objects.
Walking off the hanging bridge--
a two foot drop to impact woodchips.
Away from his therapy, tutors, special classes,
he takes an interest in the other kids,
sits still a little longer, and today,
bouncing fingers on up-turned palm,
Anthony made his first sign.
It was "more."
