Alan Bacher Williamson Professor of English

Alan Williamson has worked as Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia, was appointed Briggs-Copeland Lecturer at Harvard University, and Lecturer at Brandeis University before joining the UC Davis faculty as Assistant Professor in 1982. Professor Williamson has held the title of Professor of English at UCD since 1983. His fields of interest include 20th Century British and American literature, creative writing, poetry, psychoanalysis, literature of the American West, and Italian literature.
